The submission must be communicated to the editors via email at revista.rdsc@unisa.br.
Submission implies a tacit declaration of the study's originality, with priority given to articles submitted by foreign authors or co-authors. The Journal publishes original articles, accepting works with up to three authors, with at least one holding a Ph.D. degree, preferably affiliated with a Graduate Program in Law or related areas. After publication, articles may be republished in other outlets, provided the original source is cited.
Articles written by specialists from other fields may also be accepted, provided the topic is relevant to medical law and health law, and preferably co-authored with legal professionals.
All articles will be checked for plagiarism. Texts published online or in conference proceedings are not considered original, except when they are shortened versions of master's dissertations or doctoral theses with substantial modifications. Changes in already published works will only be accepted if the similarity index does not exceed 30%.
Articles must comply with the submission guidelines; otherwise, they will be returned to the authors without corrections or adaptations by the Journal.
Translations of articles may be submitted, provided they are accompanied by authorization from the authors and, if necessary, from the journal that holds the publication rights. The decision on whether to publish rests with the Journal's coordination.
After submission, the Journal’s coordination will confirm receipt and verify compliance with the publication guidelines. If approved, the article will undergo a review by an anonymous reviewer, following the double-blind peer review system. If the first review is negative, the article will be sent to a second anonymous reviewer.
The selection of articles for publication is the responsibility of the Editorial Board, based on the technical reviews. The decisions of the Editorial Board are final and not subject to appeal.
The Journal’s coordination is available to provide information on the editorial review process via email at revista.rdsc@unisa.br, with the subject "Information on Journal Article Review." Any unresolved issues will be handled by the Editorial Board.
The article text may be in Portuguese, English, Spanish, French, or Italian. Citations must follow the guidelines of ABNT NBR 10520:2023, with complete legislative or jurisprudential references and online citations accompanied by the access date.
Articles should be submitted in Word format, with Times New Roman font, size 12, single line spacing, 2.0 cm top and bottom margins, and 3.0 cm side margins. Footnotes should be used for additional explanations that cannot be included in the main text.
