About the Journal

The Revista de Direito da Saúde Comparado (Comparative Health Law Journal) is an international electronic journal with a continuous submission system and permanent call for papers, publishing two issues per year. It serves as a platform for disseminating research and reflections by professors and researchers in the fields of Law and Health worldwide. The journal is developed within the Master’s Program in Medical Law at Universidade Santo Amaro (UNISA), São Paulo, Brazil.

The journal’s mission is to promote the advancement of scientific and academic debate, as well as to widely disseminate high-quality research grounded in theoretical and empirical approaches to medical law, social fundamental health rights, and public health policies, both in public and private (supplementary) health systems across different countries.

The journal adopts an interdisciplinary approach, encompassing Law, Medicine, and Health, and welcomes relevant contributions from other fields within the Human and Social Sciences as well as the Biological Sciences.

Submissions are received on a continuous basis, with a permanent call for papers, and the editorial schedule includes the publication of two issues per year. Manuscripts are accepted in Portuguese, English, Spanish, French, and Italian.

To achieve its objectives, the journal is supported by distinguished scientists and legal scholars on its Editorial and Scientific Boards. It adopts a broad editorial policy and follows rigorous criteria established by the Brazilian Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES), ensuring impartiality in the peer review process and the scientific quality of published works.
