SUMMARY
Verify the influence of the media on the eating behavior of adults through social networks. Online intervention research, containing a sociodemographic questionnaire and a structured questionnaire based on the EAT-261 and SATAQ-32, freely adapted and translated into Portuguese. 111 adults participated, who answered the questions voluntarily through Google Forms. They were grouped into gender and age group for detailed analysis. The work showed a certain impact of the media on the perception of Body Image of those involved, as well as on their eating behavior, although there is variation between age groups and genders.
