Implantação do protocolo de estimulação sensório motora na unidade neonatal.

Resumo

OBJETIVO: Avaliar o conhecimento pré e pós treinamento após implantação do protocolo de estimulação sensório motora na UTIN.

MÉTODOS: Estudo prospectivo na UTIN do HGG durante o mês de novembro, com fisioterapeutas atuantes dos períodos manhã, tarde e noite. Foi aplicado um questionário pré e pós treinamento sobre a prematuridade e ESM. Para análise dos resultados foi avaliado a porcentagem de erros e acertos dos participantes

RESULTADOS: A amostra foi composta por 13 fisioterapeutas. De modo geral, a pontuação entre o pré e pós treinamento mostra que estes são uteis na capacitação de profissionais com possíveis problemas que podem ser ajustados na forma como são aplicados. CONCLUSÃO: Foi possível verificar melhora geral do conhecimento adquirido dos profissionais participantes. A sobrecarga de trabalho e plantões pode ter atrapalhado no processo de aquisição de conhecimento, o que reforça que esses eventos precisam ocorrer, mas, com abordagens diversificadas e programadas, para de fato contribuir para que os profissionais obtenham mais segurança na realização da ESM dos pacientes na UTIN.

ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVE: To assess pre- and post-training knowledge after the implementation of the sensorimotor stimulation protocol in the NICU.

METHODS: This was a prospective study carried out in the HGG NICU in November, with physiotherapists working in the morning, afternoon and evening. A pre- and post-training questionnaire on prematurity and ESM was administered. To analyze the results, the percentage of errors and successes of the participants was evaluated

RESULTS: The sample consisted of 13 physiotherapists. In general, the scores between the pre- and post-training show that they are useful in training professionals with possible problems that can be adjusted in the way they are applied. CONCLUSION: It was possible to see a general improvement in the knowledge acquired by the participating professionals. The overload of work and shifts may have hindered the process of acquiring knowledge, which reinforces that these events need to take place, but with diversified and programmed approaches, in order to really help professionals achieve greater safety in performing the ESM of patients in the NICU.
